HEYDAY: Dear Martina, how did your idea of the Walk4Future and what do you want to achieve with it?

Martina Gleissenebner-Teskey: I actually studied ecology, and alongside my studies I not only modeled, but also worked for environmental NGOs with a special focus on sustainability. So that was always important to me. After taking part in Germany's Next Topmodel (GNTM) and my renewed immersion in the fashion scene, it just seemed urgent to use my fame for a meaningful purpose.

As a trainer and coach, it has always been my mission to make people aware of the power of their own decisions and also to give them the tools and skills to translate their decisions into action
