Many people have asked me how the route of this year's walk4future came about.
- Didn't I want to go around the world once?
- Didn't I want to cross the pond to the USA?
As always and everywhere, I asked myself the question of meaning.

What ultimately tipped the scales were two cornerstones and a big anchor in between: my community, which is simply greater in Germany (besides Austria) than anywhere else in the world. And that's why I hope for beautiful, invigorating and inspiring encounters from time to time.
The two corner points between which the walk is suspended are as follows:
1. the Sustainable Apparel and Textiles Conference, from 29.4. - 30.4. in Amsterdam
I am convinced that the sustainable future of fashion lies in the development of new materials (as one of 3 B-pillars: 1. better production, 2. more conscious consumption, 3. biodegradable materials). That's why this conference is a must for me.
2. the Urban Future Conference from May 21-23 in Lodz
Because by then I had wandered through some of the most important cities in the fashion and finance industry and had a few ideas on the subject of "walkable cities = sustainable cities" have to contribute.
