Join Community Leader and Slow Fashion Designer, Anna Karsch, expert in sustainable style, Julia van Almsick, . and walk4future® founder, Martina Gleissenebner-Teskey, on a Style Walk and Talk in Munich!

  1. 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Fair Fashion Walk Join us for a walk (yes, it's not just any stroll!) where you'll discover a variety of fashion boutiques and brands, all committed to one thing: working sustainably and ethically. Between the stores, we've put together our own unique route so you can rediscover the city and enjoy the journey. Meet exciting people – the creators behind the brands and of course, your fellow walkers! Feel free to bring a bag! You might find something beautiful 😀. The tour starts and ends at the akjumii Store & Studio.
  2. 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Style Talk: Want to create your own unique style? Julia will show you how to skillfully combine materials, fabrics, and textures as stylistic tools and incorporate them into your outfits.
  3. 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM Chat & Chill

Who are Anna, Julia, and Martina?

Anna Karsch is a certified fashion designer from Munich and the founder and creative force behind the slow fashion label akjumii. Since 2012, she has been developing sustainable design concepts with high aesthetic and ethical standards. Her work is characterized by a clear, timeless design language and a deep understanding of fair production processes. Anna Karsch combines design, sustainability, and responsibility with the goal of creating durable clothing that is consciously consumed. At the heart of her work is a resource-conserving design philosophy that questions traditional consumption patterns and offers alternatives to the fast fashion model. This approach is also reflected in the akjumii Store & Studio, which she curates.

Julia van Almsick, known as “The Munich Stylist”, is a personal stylist who offers modern style coaching for clients with the highest demands on aesthetics, well-being, impact, and sustainability. She starts with what she “Shopping in “wardrobe of her clients"., She transforms existing wardrobes into unique, harmonious collections, individually tailored to the personality and life of each client. She describes her work as follows: “Everyone can develop good style – even with what they already have in their closet. My job is to bring together personality, closet contents, and individual body shapes into a harmonious whole – with craftsmanship,  Empathy and creativity” In addition to her work as a personal stylist, she is committed to educating people about the textile industry by organizing workshops and giving lectures on how sustainable clothing consumption can be implemented simply and effectively.

Martina Gleissenebner-Teskey , widely known as the first finalist over 50 on Germany's Next Topmodel by Heidi Klum, is a trainer and coach with 30 years of experience, author of “Charisma: The 9-Week Program”and model, but above all the founder of walk4future® – REthink Fashion. This project is deeply rooted in Martina's work as a coach and her studies in ecology, psychology, and communication science, and it places people at the center. “Change can never be done for you for You must change, so BE the change, otherwise nothing will change.” Therefore, walk4future®'s most important instrument is the Walk & Change Challenge that help participants develop new, better habits in a simple and fun way. The WALK'N SHOP TOURS® are another way to bring people together and make discovering better shopping habits a fun experience.
